Fall Events
Laura Cromwell
I am excited to welcome autumn and all it's busyness after a great summer in the studio and in the woods. I hope you'll come visit me at the Badass Brooklyn Fall Festival, on Sunday, September 14th, on President St at 3rd Ave, in Gowanus, Brooklyn. I will have work for sale there, at a booth which I will be sharing with wonderful fiber artist (and my good friend) Heather Love. This is a fundraiser for a wonderful group who rescues dogs from high-kill shelters and finds them good homes. Yeay! In their honor, I have made some yummy dog and cat dishes which I will be premiering at the fair, along with my acorns, pinecones, birds, butterflies and flower bowls.
Then, in October I will be participating in Gowanus Open Studios 2014, on October 18-19th, from 12-6 in my studio at 183 Lorraine Street, #3503. This year there are over 200 artists participating throughout Gowanus and Red Hook Brooklyn! I love opening my studio to visitors to show what I've been working on all year. This time I will be presenting my nature objects, plus some larger pieces I have been working on.
