Decorating for the Season and the Holiday Table

It's been a busy fall, and though the weather is unseasonably warm, my mind and body are ready to switch gears with the early sunsets–to focus on cooking, getting together with family and friends, finishing the dolls I'm making for my nieces' Christmas gifts.
My ceramic work is getting out into the world this season! I have a new line of garden markers in the shop at Gowanus Nursery. These markers are deluxe–almost 7" long, stenciled and stamped porcelain that will look fine in their pot as the gardener impatiently waits for the first seedlings to come up. Brooklyn General Store is carrying a selection of Spools and Pinecones for the holidays, perfect for your crafty friends.
In the studio, I have a fresh crop of flower bowls with gold luster rims–great for the holiday table–and new turtles, frogs, mushrooms and other small nature objects waiting to be nestled into a moss terrarium, or peaking out beneath a lacy fern frond. Happy winter everyone!
